Congratulations Jacqueline Ervin for winning the 2023 Elite Rodeo Royalty Ambassador of the year award!
We are pleased to join our presenting sponsor Centerfire Consulting to award Jacqueline with a trophy saddle and trophy belt buckle to commemorate her accomplishments as an "Elite" ambassador of rodeo.
Being an “Elite” ambassador for the sport of rodeo is much more than just a rodeo queen title. It's taking the extra time to promote the sport we love so much, educating spectators and going above and beyond what’s expected of a title holder.
Jacqueline's efforts this year as Miss Rodeo Mississippi have proven just that! She has touched so many lives and made a significant difference in her community while setting a strong, modest example for generations to come.
CONGRATULATIONS!
Jacqueline has previously held the title of Miss Dixie National 2021 and is currently serving as your Miss Rodeo Mississippi 2023. Her most recent accomplishment was winning 3rd runner up at the Miss Rodeo America Pageant during the National Finals Rodeo.
She believes it is imperative for a rodeo queen or ambassador to possess the qualities of leadership, integrity, reliability, and genuine kindness.
In her collegiate years, Jacqueline was a member of the Delta Omega chapter of Kappa Delta, where philanthropic and community involvement was a top priority. During her time there, Jacqueline served as a mentor and volunteer with Girl Scouts of the USA, and has also helped raise money for national and local child abuse prevention efforts. Since graduation, Jacqueline has felt called to find her own way to make a difference, this time leading her to Colombia, South Africa. Jacqueline now sponsors a child in Colombia in an effort to provide for children living in poverty through her church.
Jacqueline has a bright future ahead and many goals she hopes to achieve. She is the owner of Quintz & Company boutique and wishes to grow her business after her rodeo queen career comes to a close. Jacqueline plans to be spending more time with her four-legged friends while barrel racing, and is looking forward to returning to school to acquire her MBA.
So far this year, Jacqueline has been blessed with many impactful experiences thanks her to her Miss Rodeo Mississippi title.
“The most impactful thing for me this year has been how eager people are to show kindness and compassion to those they don’t know….I’ve met the nicest people who have welcomed me to a rodeo, a dinner, and even into their homes,” says Ervin.
