2025 Elite Rodeo Royalty Ambassadors!

Harlee Stokes has been blessed to hold numerous local titles at a young age. Over the last

several years, Harlee has served as the Utah Jr. High State Queen, the Silver State

International Rodeo Queen and currently holds the title of Utah High School Rodeo

Queen and National High School Rodeo Queen. 

Harlee believes that there are numerous qualities that are important to have to be a rodeo queen. Some qualities that she believes are key is to have determination, willingness, and a desire to love what you do. Harlee says “To be a rodeo queen or an ambassador you must be dedicated to the organization you are representing. I believe willingness is key because it is important to set time aside to serve. Be willing to have late nights and early mornings and everything that comes with being a rodeo queen or ambassador. Willing to take part in things that help you and the association grow even if it might be uncomfortable. Lastly you must love what you do. If you love what you do, everything will not only be fun, but you will enjoy every moment and take it all in”.

Harlee is a member of the Utah High School Rodeo Association. She recently had the 

opportunity to make blankets for hospitals all around the state.  In addition to UHSRA, She gives back to a program called Freedom Riders a program that offers horse therapy for

challenged kids. The last few years she has been able to serve them by donating bags of

horse feed and being a side walker or leading a therapy horse.  She is grateful and can't wait for more amazing opportunities to serve.

Harlee plans to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, after which she plans to attend college to further her education in hopes to get her veterinary medicine degree and start her own vet practice. There have been countless things she has learned throughout her journey, but Harlee says “the most impactful thing would be to stay true to who you are. We all have been given special gifts and talents designed to fit us perfectly. All of us are special and very unique. Don't be afraid to be you and stay true to yourself because nobody is you. Throughout my journey i have come across the Elite Rodeo Royalty countless times on social media. This program has always been one of my favorite ways to stay dedicated and inspired”. 

MISS WILDERNESS CIRCUIT 2024

Morgan Perkins has had the honor of holding many past rodeo titles in the state of Utah as the Lewiston 4th of July Rodeo Queen, the Cache County Fair and Rodeo Queen, and currently serves as Miss Wilderness Circuit representing the states of Utah, Idaho, and Nevada. 

Morgan says, “Knowing who we are and what we have to offer is something of

importance to be able to help one another. When we are kind we are the best version of

ourselves.” 

Outside of the arena and rodeo queening duties, Morgan devotes her time to working for a Charter School for At-Risk youth in her community and strives to share love and kindness with those around her. Morgan has also served a mission for her church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania for 18 months and dedicated her time to serving those around her. She is also active in NRHA shows and in the Idaho Reigning Horse Association. 

Morgan has graduated college with a degree in Agricultural Communications and Journalism with a Minor in Unmanned Aerial Systems (Drones) and an Emphasis in Broadcast Journalism. “I love shooting videos and being in nature,” she says. 

Morgan’s goals for the future include growing her career in media in journalism and intends to compete for the title of Miss Rodeo Utah this July. 

In the Western industry, I would love to have people experience a farm and harvesting or the

beginning of life. It is such a great experience to smell the freshly cut hay, see a newborn baby,

and experience the schedule of a farmer and where our food comes from. This is an experience

of a lifetime that everyone should know about.

MISS RODEO SOUTH DAKOTA 2024

Callie Mueller has had the honor of holding many past rodeo titles in the state of South Dakota including 2020 Miss Black Hills Roundup, 2021 Miss Corn Palace Stampede, 2022 Miss Days of ’76, 2023 Miss Watertown Rodeo, and is currently serving as your 2024 Miss Rodeo South Dakota. 

Callie says, “I believe important qualities that a rodeo queen should have includes: integrity, being a positive role model in and out of title, having a flexible and growth mindset, and being knowledgeable about rodeo and the western industry.”

Outside of the arena and rodeo queening duties, Callie volunteers at Joy Ranch of South Dakota, where people with special needs come to enjoy horse activities, and a local nursing home in my community. Callie also mentors 4-H members, helps her local FFA chapters horse judging team, and has completed a service-learning trip at a school in San Ignacio, Belize. 

Callie’s goals for the future include pursuing a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership and competing to win a world championship in one of the following associations: AQHA (American Quarter Horse Association), PBHA (Palomino Breeder’s Horse Association), or NRHA (National Reigning Horse Association). 

When asked what she wishes each and every person would have the opportunity to experience in the western industry, Callie says, “Even though every rodeo across the nation is unique to itself with its own traditions, I love that every rodeo has comradery. This is the feeling I wish everyone could experience! When you go to a new rodeo, you still feel that you belong. This is something I can testify to as being a state titleholder. With all of the new rodeos I am attending this year, every rodeo committee is welcoming and friendly. The faithfulness, patriotism, and unity in our sport of rodeo is unmatched.”

Miss Rodeo Nevada 2024

Annemarie Vogedes is your reigning Miss Rodeo Nevada 2024 and previously held the title of Miss Reno Rodeo 2023. She is blessed to have grown up in a community that is supportive and uplifting to their neighbors and believes it is important to relay these values as a rodeo queen. 

Vogedes says, “I believe as a rodeo queen it is important to be inviting, to be a good listener, positive, gracious, and kind. Most of all I think it is important to be passionate.”

Annemarie enjoys staying involved in her community by participating in community walks to support various non-profit organizations from raising awareness for Alzheimer’s disease to supporting Breast Cancer research. On a day-to-day basis she volunteers her time to the Center for Adaptive Riding in Reno, Nevada. The center provides programs to children and adults of all ability levels to learn a multitude of horsemanship skills to help improve physical, mental, and social well-being for people.

“I am also extremely passionate about the arts and education. To this I have created a passion project for my year as Miss Rodeo Nevada called Bulls, Broncs, and Branding. With this I bring a hands-on art project with standards-based lessons to teach students about cattle branding; how it started and how the idea grew to more than just branding for ranches but also to large corporations as well,” says Vogedes. 

Annemarie is keeping her options for the future open, but shares how she would love to use her degree in Digital Media and Minor in Journalism to work in the public relations field, preferably within the western industry. She also would love to continue becoming more involved with rodeo committees across Nevada, helping them to grow through media, volunteer involvement, and ultimately continue giving back to the sport that has given her so much joy.   

Miss Rodeo Minnesota 2024

Donnae Morton  is your reigning Miss Rodeo Minnesota 2024 and says,

 “Miss Rodeo Minnesota is actually the only title I have held. I like to say that even though this is my first title, it is almost like I have been a rodeo queen my whole life, I just did not look like this.”

Her journey in the rodeo industry started early, traveling with her family to rodeos

across the country all throughout the summers. Morton tells us, “Rodeo has given me the best childhood and lifestyle that I could ever dream of, which has allowed me to have seen all the ins and outs. There is a true family and camaraderie like no other sport.  My dad, who was a PRCA steer wrestler, did not get into rodeo himself until college when he went to a rodeo and said, “I want to do that”. So he reached out to one of the cowboys and just like that there was an incredible community around him that

supported him in every way got to learn the sport. It is because of the kindness and

selflessness that these cowboys showed him that ended up changing his life which

changed mine, and I could not imagine it any other way. This is why I am so passionate

about giving riding lessons and encouraging people to pursue a dream because it is

never too late to get into rodeo and the western way of life. There is truly no better way of life out there, and I want to see this community grow and flourish and see firsthand

how special it truly is.”

Donnae spends her time outside of the arena giving back in any way she can and has

volunteered at various therapeutic riding programs, with a future goal of getting

certified to be a therapeutic disability riding instructor herself. She also spends her time

helping in after school programs, including one known as Hospitality House located in

inner Minneapolis. Hospitality House gives kids a safe place to go to after school to not

only grow academically but to also learn about Jesus in their time there. Donnae loves

hosting small groups, creating a community to help women grow in their faith together

and is highly involved in her church, sports, and FFA.

Morton says, “Being a rodeo queen is a job of service, constantly putting others before

yourself. It is essential that rodeo queens exemplify the “Fruit of the Spirit”; love, joy,

peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control, not only when in the spotlight but when nobody is watching. It is so important that you always

make each and every person feel seen and make them feel like they are the most

important person in the room, you truly have no idea what a smile can do to change

someone’s day. There is so much power in leading by example no matter who can see.”

Donnae has just graduated this past December with a degree in Sports Management and plans to further her education t get her Masters degree in the future. Her dream is

to work for the PRCA or NFL along the marketing and public relations side. Morton

says, “Future plans are also to eventually get my card to go down the rodeo road,

dreaming of making the NFR. My ultimate goal is to live a life that is honoring to Christ

in everything I say and do, being a light for Him to all that I meet. I truly believe that God

has you exactly where He wants you for a reason and a purpose.”

When speaking on what her most impactful lesson from her experiences in the western

industry would be, Morton says, “Needless to say, the western way of life has run

through my blood since I was born and I have gone from spending countless hours on the back of my pony to starting my own horse training business. Training horses has

taught me so many things that can directly be correlated to our life. In fact I have a

whole journal dedicated to life lessons I have learned and related to training horses.

When working with horses of all different backgrounds, your patience and perseverance

is constantly being tested and you quickly learn how to adapt to teach horses in all

different ways which relates right back to teaching and communicating with others.”

Miss Rodeo Missouri 2024

Jordan Todd is your reigning Miss Rodeo Missouri 2024. She believes kindness and understanding are the most valuable traits for a rodeo queen to have, Todd says, “Of course it is important to be confident and knowledgeable, but a person can go a long way with kindness and understanding as it can be rare to find people with these qualities in the world.”

Throughout her time as a rodeo queen, Jordan has been blessed with the opportunity to connect with many different people from all walks of life, including cancer patients, the elderly, special needs children, political leaders, and more! She says, “Each of these connections has given me the opportunity to give back in a different manner each time.” 

After completing her rodeo queen career, Todd plans to begin work at a small town law firm and intends to purchase her PRCA permit to run barrels and hopefully go down the rodeo road as her next endeavor in the western industry. 

When asked what she wishes every person had a chance to experience within the one-of-a-kind western industry, Todd said, “I wish everyone could experience the peace and the bond that you can have with a horse. The partnership that rodeo athletes form with their horses is unmatched to anything else in the world and I wish more people could understand the kindness these animals give to us.”

Miss Rodeo Ogden 2024

Jenessa Sullivan is your current Miss Rodeo Ogden 2024. Janessa has held several titles such as 2019 Miss Utah State Fair, 2021 Miss Rodeo Hooper and 2022 Evanston Cowboy Days Queen. In addition to speaking and promoting her current title, she enjoys helping younger queens learn, grow and prepare for contests.  She volunteers at local 4-H and FFA events. Recently, she has been involved with Kiwais cubs.  

Jenessa currently attends Weber State University studying communications and Marketing.   

She would like to take advantage of social media exposure to grow all platforms, as well as opportunities behind the scenes, hands on opportunities, pageant practice, mentorship, and internships. 

Jenessa said " I wish everyone had the opportunity to experience the level of patriotism, honor, and respect the Rodeo and Western industry have for our country. We begin every Rodeo performance with a prayer ad National Anthem removing cover for those who have sacrificed for our freedom.
