Decide. Commit. Succeed.
Established in 2018 by a former rodeo queen, Elite Rodeo Royalty is fueled by a strong passion for the sport of rodeo and the ambassadors who represent the western way of life.
Many spectators believe Rodeo Queens are just pretty faces in fancy clothes, and sadly, some title holders end their journey without every challenging that stereotype. However, there are title holders that are MUCH MORE than this, and strive each day to meet their full potential. These young women have a passion to excel in all that they do and a deep desire to make a difference within their industry.
Elite Rodeo Royalty is a platform built to shine light upon “Elite” Ambassadors and the platforms they promote in hopes to preserve the traditional value and purpose a rodeo queen can serve as a role model, representative, and spokeswoman.
Being an “Elite” ambassador for the sport of rodeo is much more than just having a rodeo queen title. It is taking the extra time to promote the sport, and to educate spectators and influence new fans with every opportunity, going above and beyond with little to no recognition. These ambassadors set a strong, modest example for generations to come and most of all, they make a significant difference by serving others. These rodeo queens are the "Elite" young women setting the bar for those who will follow in their footsteps.
Elite Rodeo Royalty hopes to bridge the gap by recognizing and promoting the hard work and dedication of these "Elite" ambassadors while they strive to preserve the way of the Cowgirl and all she represents.
Each month an "Elite" ambassador of rodeo is chosen to be featured across Elite Rodeo Royalty's website and social media platforms. Optimizing their audience by shining light on their past and present titles, recent accomplishments, and platform.
At the end of each year all twelve monthly ambassadors will be placed in the running to become the Elite Ambassador of The Year, winning a trophy saddle and trophy belt buckle sponsored by ERR presenting sponsor CenterFire Consulting to commemorate their efforts in being and "Elite Rodeo Queen" making a significant difference in this industry.
Elite Rodeo Royalty has a team of dedicated rodeo queens past and present that give their time to further the growth of ERR. They are committed to finding sponsors and fellow sash sisters with talents to continue this cause. Message us to find out how you can join the ERR team!
Elite Rodeo Royalty is always looking for volunteers to join our team. Message us to find out how you can get involved in the Elite Rodeo Royalty and contribute.
McKenna McKinnon began her rodeo Queen journey in New Mexico with her hometown title as Miss San Juan County Fair and Rodeo in 2004. Throughout the following years, she continued to pursue other rodeo queen titles eventually leading her to compete for New Mexico State Fair Queen. She never could have imagined the impact her queening journey would have on her life, leaving her with a deeper appreciation for the sport she loved and the desire to give back to the rodeo community. She had hoped to pass on her rodeo queening experience to a daughter of her own, but God had other plans, and blessed her with four handsome cowboys instead.
McKenna had always felt passionate about finding ways to give back to the sport that gave her so much, and the girls who also had a dream to be great ambassadors. Over the next ten years she set out to do just that, serving as Royalty Director on several committees and devoting her time to help girls become elite rodeo ambassadors through her own experiences.
In 2018 McKenna founded “Elite Rodeo Royalty” with one goal in mind, to support rodeo queens across the nation while giving back one sash at a time. After all God did in fact have bigger plans and blessed her with hundreds of young women who she calls "friends and fellow sash sisters".
In light of this goal, she has served two years as the National Director and Five years as President of the Miss Rodeo Arizona organization.
She was blessed beyond measure to work alongside Kennadee Riggs during her time as Miss Rodeo Arizona and to support her victory in leaving Las Vegas with the coveted title of Miss Rodeo America 2023! She will forever be grateful for Kennadee's example and friendship.
She is honored to have continuous opportunities to judge rodeo queen pageants across the nation and never ceases to be impressed by the dedication and talent these young women display.
McKenna is currently serving on the Miss Rodeo America National Advisory Council and enjoys spending time around like-minded individuals serving with the same goal in mind. She hopes to give back any way she can and plans to make a significant difference every chance she gets.
When McKenna is not working or focusing on Rodeo queens, she is living her best life with her Husband and children on their longhorn cattle ranch in Weatherford, Texas.
